North Carolina

So, after surviving a long week of Buckeye Girls' State (which I won't even bother going into) I had some time off and then I got to go to North Carolina with my wonderful (attractive) boyfriend and his family (including the other girlfriend Morgan). The trip down was unbearably long, of course I was probably the most comfortable.. lol. Keith was actually in the very back of the vehicle, back where storage generally goes. Apparently it was comfortable, but I didn't want to try it. The trip was 12 hours, and OMG the way down was crazy. We stopped soo many times. For many different reasons. First we had to stop because we were afraid the luggage on top of the vehicle was going to fall off, then we kept stopping because of the really loud annoying noise that the luggage made. Needless to say we never got it to stop even with all of our attempts (including stuffing towls underneath to block wind flow). Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, the trip down there was worth it (I was actually not too bothered, but it was rather amusing to watch everybody else flip out) Of course wind didn't get through my loud music, so I had an advantage over Mark and Terry.

The trip down there was long and boring I'll skip over detailing the many different ways I tried to sleep and go straight to telling you about my time I spent in NC. The first day we got there Kyle and I immediately found a bed and slept for a few hours (we slept SOOOOO much) then we headed to the beach. Now, I've never been to the beach, so I have never experienced the joys of having burning eyes from salt water, or the nasty taste of it either. Apart from those two sensations the rest of it was fun. Oh, and the whole feeling salty wasn't cool either. Laying out in the sun was very relaxing, and I wish I could have done more of it, but time was short (mostly because of all the time we spent sleeping..lol) We didn't stay up late that night, the trip down was really tiring so we just went to sleep on the first night.

Day 2: Got up early (haha, just kidding) I'll start that sentence over; Kyle got up early and ran while I rolled around on my nice little air mattress. Then we did what we do best, we slept some more-in a real bed-while pretty much everybody else went to the beach. I'm gonna let you know right now... Kyle and I were the last ones to the beach every single day. We did end up going to the beach. Then later that day we went to this restaurant known as Dick's last resort. Fun stuff. It's this restaurant where the waiter's and waitresses are well... Dicks. We got these huge condom looking hats that have "mean" things written on them. I'd tell you about ours.. but I don't even feel like it right now. We stayed up reeally late that night.. sleep is overrated.

Day 3: Again, I slept in and Kyle ran. Spent more time sleeping. =D I heart sleeping it makes me feel better. LOL, I'm sorry if I got the days messed up.. I don't even remember everything correctly, I remember all of the things.. but I don't remember which days they happened on.

Mostly Kyle and I walked on the beach a bunch, very relaxing. All of the pleasures of the ocean without all of the negatives such as the uncomfort of sand and salt all over you. I really miss it now that I'm back at home. The beach house had A/C and it was used unlike at my house in which it has to be at least 80 up here. Oh, and the beach house had Kyle. I spent like 120 hours straight with him (discluding sleeping) and I still couldn't (and can't) get enough.

Anyways, I know I didn't really write an interesting blog about vacation.. but I know and remember it was a great time. Personally, that's all that matters to me.
